If you are worried about a report being correct, first confirm that the data is being tracked as expected. From there, review the docs about the specific report to make sure you understand the logic behind it. If something looks off, try to find an example of a specific user or event that you thought should/shouldn’t be included in the report and see if there’s anything about that event/user that would lead to the behavior seen (ie is there a filter on the report, filtering out the event?). If you still need help, reach out to Support via the web form with a link to the report and some context on what looks off. What are other companies in my industry tracking and creating reports for in Mixpanel?

Growth and Enterprise plans can create custom alerts based on reports. When an alert fires, Mixpanel’s AI-powered Root Cause Analysis feature automatically diagnoses what drove the change — validating the anomaly, ranking the dimensions that contributed most, and generating a Board with an AI-written interpretation, confidence level, and suggested next steps. Organizations with enterprise plans can also set up anomaly detection alerts to automatically monitor their metrics and notify you when significant anomalies occur. Learn more about custom alerts here. What are the common analysis types done in Mixpanel?
